Formula
Area = Length × Width. Perimeter = 2 × (Length + Width). 1 gaj = 9 sq ft, 1 sq m = 10.764 sq ft, 1 acre = 43,560 sq ft.
Worked example
A 30 × 40 ft plot is 1,200 sq ft, 133.3 gaj or 111.5 sq m, with a 140 ft boundary.
